This HowTo covers how to enable ZiLink to automatically create cohort and manager that student enrolments.

HowTo: Locating the ZiLink menu in Moodle

Please refer to the HowTo: Locating the ZiLink menu in Moodle which covers logging into moodle and locating the ZiLink section.

Click Auto Create under ZiLink -> Cohorts

Enable Cohorts

Select Enable from the drop down list and click Save Changes.

Click View under ZiLink -> Cohorts

To select a cohort either begin typing the cohort name in the search box and the Cohorts List will automatically filter or use the vertical scroll bar in the Cohort list box to find the cohort.

In this example, '10a' was typed into the search box and 10A/Ar1 was selected. Upon selection, the members of that cohort are listed in the right-hand box.

Only empty cohorts will be listed. Select the cohorts you wish to remove and click 'Delete'.

Cohorts > Enrolment

Cohorts > Enrolment

This report lists the courses where each cohort has been enrolled. This is very useful in keeping track of cohorts and their enrolments.

E.g. Cohort 10A/Gg2 is enrolled into two courses - Year 10 Geography and 10A/Gg2.
