A user has been linked to the wrong Moodle user account

This can occur because either:

  • ZiLink has matched a record in the absence of their being a record for this user. This can happen when first names and surnames match. For example, John Smith Year 7 is matched with John Smith Year 10 and John Smith Year 7 does not have a Moodle user account yet, or
  • The Moodle user account has been manually incorrectly matched.

To resolve:

Login as a Moodle Administrator and edit the Moodle User Profile by removing the number in the ID Number field of the profile.

Then go to System administration > ZiLink > ZiLink Account Synchronisation > Unmatched and match the user correctly.
