An administrator can create a schedule and make it available to parents and teachers so appointments can be made between them. A good example of use if to manage a Parent Evening.
Administratively, Parent Evenings can be complicated to organise and ensure that the participants, parents and teachers, have all the information they need for the consultation.
If a Schedule has been created, then the following will be available for parents when they login.
Any Schedules that are available will be listed in the Guardian Scheduler block such as this example shows.
Click the date of the schedule listed.
Booking an appointment
- There will be a list of subjects in this column.
- Parent selects which teacher for that subject they want to see.
- Parents select an available time. Only times that are available will be listed so times already allocated will not be listed.
- Appointments previously created can be deleted.
If an appointment is already listed, you can change or delete it.
To create a new appointment (make sure any existing appointment is deleted by clicking the X alongside the appointment, select a teacher from the drop-down list in the 'Teacher' column.
Select a time and click 'Save changes'.
